Minister of Communications Arkan Al-Shaibani confirmed that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi pledged to distribute another 532,000 plots of land within Dari initiative, and while he indicated that two billion dinars had been allocated to the Ministry of Health to cover the treatment of the wounded in the demonstrations, he pointed out that two billion dinars had been allocated from the emergency reserve to confront floods in Kurdistan region.
Al-Shaibani said at the weekly press conference of the Council of Ministers, which was attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kadhimi pledged to allocate another 532,000 plots of land within Dari initiative," noting that "Al-Kadhimi directed to find final solutions for street vendors."
He added, "300 million dinars have been allocated to support the full-time agriculturalists and unemployed veterinarians, in addition to allocating 500 million dinars to secure the needs of the camps for the displaced in Kurdistan and Al-Jada camp," noting that "the Ministry of Electricity has contracted with a Norwegian company to implement solar energy projects in Holy Karbala".
He pointed out that "two billion dinars were allocated to the Ministry of Health to cover the treatment of the wounded in the demonstrations, in addition to allocating 1.5 billion dinars from the emergency reserve to run irrigation and drainage projects," noting that "two billion dinars were allocated from the emergency reserves to face the torrential rains in Kurdistan."
