KRG Health: No Omicron cases detected

    Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region denied detecting any cases with  Omicron mutant in the region. 

    The Minister of Health in the Kurdistan Region, Saman Al-Barzanji, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Monday, that he denies detecting any cases from the mutated Omicron in the Kurdistan region so far. 

    Earlier today, the Federal Ministry of Health warned of the possibility of the Omicron mutant entering Iraq after detecting it in the neighboring countries.
