Baghdad-INA
The International Organization for Migration in Iraq announced today, Monday, its support for the return of Iraqis stranded at the Belarusian border with three measures, while noting that those at the border in Belarus are not only Iraqis.
The head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) mission in Iraq, Georgi Jikauri, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "IOM provided humanitarian support to the migrants stranded at the border with Belarus so that there would be a roof for them to shelter and provide them with food and blankets, and everything related to health."
Jikauri explained, "IOM has provided all the requirements for those who want to return voluntarily without any pressure, and we have provided them with transportation methods, and upon their return we provide them with assistance to integrate into Iraqi society."
