Dhi Qar province on Sunday witnessed three demonstrations demanding jobs, services and salary adjustments.
"The residents of some villages in Al-Gharaf district have cut off major roads linking the city of Nasiriyah to demand services," said a reporter for the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"Graduates of technical colleges and institutes have blocked the road in front of the building of Dhi Qar province to demand jobs," he said, adding that "graduates of technical colleges and institutes continue to sit in front of the buildings of oil institutions in Dhi Qar to demand job grades."
"Dhi Qar health contract staff held a vigil in front of the Health Department building to demand that their salaries be adjusted," the reporter said.
