The Chaldean Patriarchate calls for a day of fasting and prayer for Iraq

His Beatitude Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako, Patriarch, called on all the faithful of the Chaldean Church in Iraq to fast and pray on December 21, 2021.
A statement by the Patriarchate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "In order to alleviate the crisis left by the legislative elections, and to expedite the formation of a national government that works wisely to build a real democratic state, and to achieve peace and stability, especially since Christians are about to celebrate a few days after birth of Jesus Christ, the messenger of peace and love".
