The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced today, Thursday, the arrest of senior ISIS members.
Major General Rasool said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Under the guidance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the heroes of The Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) carried out various duties in the governorates of Iraq, beginning with the Tarmiyah district of the capital, Baghdad, in which two suspects were arrested, who specialize in teaching the manufacture of explosive devices."
He also explained, "CTS was able to arrest (3) members of ISIS gangs in the districts of Fallujah and Ramadi in Anbar Governorate, in the west of the country, as well as the arrest of a person impersonating a member of the CTS in Baghdad - Al-Kamaliyah, who bargains money to citizens for jobs.”
