The players of the national table tennis team who challenge disability in the Asian Youth Para Games held in Bahrain, won eleven medals, and Diyala players had the lion’s share of them by getting six medals.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "The player Najla Imad managed to win a gold and a bronze medals, and the player Taiba Muhammad won two bronze, while the player Mustafa Montaser won two bronze medals."
He added, "This achievement came under the supervision and training of the international coach Hossam Hussein Al-Bayati."
He also mentioned that, "Diyala's players in the arena and field won three medals in the same tournament, and they are Muhammad Ashraf Jassim, a silver medal in the 100m race, and Haider Wathiq Jassim two bronze medals."
