A security delegation from the Peshmerga discussed today, Saturday, with the Joint Operations Command (JOC) plans to confront terrorism.
"A delegation from the Peshmerga arrived at the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command to discuss and coordinate security in areas of common security interest, and to develop new plans to confront terrorist attacks," JOC said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added that "The deputy commander of the joint operations, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, received the security delegation."
