Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, stressed today, Sunday, the need to confront the challenges in the region.
"Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi on the sidelines of the Regional Security Summit / The IISS Manama Dialogue 17," noting that "the two sides lauded the qualitative development witnessed by the bilateral relations between Iraq and Jordan in all fields", said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
" during the meeting , both side exchanged views and ideas on various issues of common concern, and they also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation at various levels," explaining that "the meeting underlined that meeting the challenges facing the region requires unifying efforts and joint coordination to overcome their effects."
On his part, Al-Safadi stressed that "Jordan supports the security and stability of Iraq," pointing to "the readiness of his government to provide assistance in in combating Corona pandemic."
