Xavi agrees to return Alves to Barcelona 

The Spanish newspaper "Sport" confirmed that Barcelona's new coach, Xavi Hernandez, had given his approval for the return of veteran Brazilian defender Dani Alves. 

According to the newspaper, Xavi, who was appointed coach of Barcelona last Saturday, wants to rely on the Brazilian defender in his new project in Barcelona. 

“Sport” reported that “Xavi has already made the decision and the intention is now that the club and Alves agree on the terms as soon as possible so that he joins the team.” 

The contract with Dani Alves, who is 38 years old, will be on a free transfer, after the termination of his contract with Sao Paulo.
