Iraq national team coach, Dick Advocaat, confirmed on Wednesday, that the opportunity for Iraq to qualify for the World Cup Championship is still available.
"Iraqi team has had an offensive problem for two or three years before my arrival, and our players do not score many goals, and win a few goals," said Advocaat at the press conference for the Iraq-Syria match, which was attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"So, we have to improve that," he added.
He continued, "I came for Iraq to qualify the team for the World Cup in Qatar, not for the money, and there are still six matches and an opportunity to qualify,"
