Ministry of Migration and Displaced – MMD announced the return of 120 IDPs from Amiriya camp to their homeland areas of residence in Anbar Governorate.
“In implementation of the directives of the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Jabro, for the voluntary return of displaced families, 120 IDPs from Amiriya camp were returned to their homeland areas of residence in coordination with Anbar Governorate, the Anbar Operations Command, and the Ministry of Transport,” said Mustafa Hamid Sarhan, the director of the ministry’s branch in Anbar Governorate in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He added that, "the next few days, Amiriyah camp in Anbar will be closed and the announcement of the province to be free of IDPs camps,"
