Minister of Culture Hassan Nadhim confirmed on Wednesday, that the ancient translations proves the cultural relations between Iraq, France and Germany, while noting that the Antiquities Authority submitted a report on German excavators and aspires to resume its work.

"Our cultural relations have not stopped with France and Germany," said Nadhim during a joint press conference on the sidelines of Tigris Nights for short films, in the presence of the French ambassador, Eric Chevalier, and the German Martin Jaeger, attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) correspondent.

He added, "This beautiful cinematic art came to support Iraqi artists and talents,"

“The ministry spares no effort in providing opportunities for cooperation with those countries. Iraq is a lover of art, literature, and the festival is a great space for joint cooperation between France and Germany," he added.
