The Ministry of Health announced the inclusion of ages 12 and over with the Pfizer-Biontec vaccine.
The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "based on the recommendations of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Immunization Program and the recommendations of the World Health Organization, which approved giving the Pfizer-vaccine to the age group of 12 years and above, and in order to reduce the risk of spreading the Corona virus and increase immunity." It was decided that the age group covered by Pfizer-Biontec vaccine should be from 12 years of age or older.
Ministry added, "Priority is given to groups at risk within these categories."
