Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, said Thursday that the city will close all non - essential services from October 28 until November 7.
Sobyanin's announcement of the 11-day closure decision came after President Vladimir Putin ordered a week of paid leave nationwide at the end of the month, to curb the rapid spread of infection.
