Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi affirmed that the state is keen on the blood of its people, while stressing that the blood of Iraqis will not be in vain.
Al-Kadhimi said, in a speech during his meeting with one of the wounded security forces in Adhamiya, and followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the families of the martyrs and the wounded of security forces are one of the government's priorities.
He added, "There was a failure in the state since 2003 due to corruption," stressing that "the state is strong and does not pay attention to provocations by some."
Regarding the arrest of the responsible for the bloody Karrada bombing, Al-Kadhimi said, "The process of arresting the person responsible for the Karrada bombing took years."
