An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale struck at dawn today, Saturday, in the Aegean Sea off the coast of Mugla state, western Turkey
A statement published by the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) stated that “the earthquake occurred off the coast of Dacha district in the aforementioned state at 02.25 local time, at a depth of 37 km below sea level.”
There were no immediate reports of any material or human losses caused by the earthquake, which was about 203 km away from the center of the aforementioned district.
