Ministry of Communications identified on Monday, the reasons for the social media services malfunction in several applications.
"A defect in the global Internet system led to many social media applications malfunction,'' said a spokesman for the Ministry of Communications, Raad al-Mashhadani, to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He explained that "the malfunction experienced by the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp applications as it is global and was not limited to Iraq alone,''
Earlier, a sudden malfunction caused the suspension of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp applications in Iraq
.
Several Arab and foreign countries reported that the three services were also suddenly disrupted, while the Facebook; company that owns the three applications; has not showed any clarification so far.
