The Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations announced the statistics of projects completed during 2021.
"The total number of projects completed in 2021 was 97 projects in various sectors at a cost of 86,703,167,386 dinars," The Fund's director of media office Muthanna al-Askari told The Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Monday.
"Five projects have been completed in the health sector at a cost of 5,759,818,000 dinars, 2 in Baghdad / Abu Ghraib at a cost of 580,702,000 dinars, and 3 in Nineveh / Mosul at a cost of 5,179,116,000 dinars," he said.
"In the education sector, 17 projects were completed at a cost of 11,110,245,560 dinars, six of which were in Anbar at a cost of 5,412,994,000 dinars, 2 in Ramadi, 3 in Al-Qaim, 1 in Karma and 4 in Baghdad at a cost of 1,673,992,300 dinars, 2 in Tarmiya, 1 in Latifiyah, 1 in Abu Ghraib" he said.
He pointed out that the fund was able to complete six projects in the education sector in Diyala province at a cost of 3,346,137,260 dinars, distributed between the areas of Khanaqin, Al-Khalis and Jalwala," stressing the completion of one project in Salaheddine/Baiji province at a cost of 677,122,000 dinars."
