Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf, announced on Monday, electing Iraq as the Vice-President of the General Conference of the Atomic Energy Agency in the 65th session.
"The Conference started its work at the Vienna International Center with the actual and virtual presence, along with high-level international participation,” said Al-Sahaf in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He noted, "This came within the framework of Iraq's return to its appropriate position in the relevant international conferences and forums,”
