The World Economic Forum announced that the organizers will be held in Davos resort in Switzerland mountains next year in the period between 17 to 21 January, returning to form a direct meeting between world leaders and heads of companies.
The forum's organizers said in a statement that "the meeting will focus on accelerating the capitalism of stakeholders, harnessing the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and ensuring a more inclusive future of work."
Coronavirus pandemic forced organizers last year to shift the forum's annual meeting to Singapore and then cancel it entirely, raising questions about whether the high-profile event will ever return to Switzerland.
