Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein and his Kuwaiti counterpart, Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, discussed today, Thursday, bilateral relations and issues of concern to Iraq and Kuwait.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Minister Fouad Hussein met his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah on the sidelines of his participation in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in Riyadh."
He added, "The bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, stressing the need to deepen them to achieve the interests of the two brotherly peoples, and discussing issues of concern to Iraq, the State of Kuwait, and the Arab region."
Today, Thursday, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, to participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
