The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, called Ambassador Qais Al-Azzawi, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector at the Arab League, to check on his health .
According to a statement received by Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Friday, that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, made a phone call with the ambassador Qais Al-Azzawi, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector at the Arab League, to check on his health" expressing "his hope for a quick recovery to return to work in the Arab League .
During the phone call, the President of the Republic commended Al-Azzawi's role and his history of struggle, noting that "the Presidency of the Republic shows interest in the health status of the Ambassador, follows up on it, and is ready to provide all forms of assistance ."
For his part, Al-Azzawi thanked President Barham Salih for his noble step and his follow-up to his health, which indicates Iraq's interest in its loyal sons .
