National Security Adviser Qassim and United Nations Representative Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert stressed the importance of providing all available means for the success of the upcoming elections.
Al-Araji received Plasschaert, in his office on Monday, where they made a review on the political and security situations in Iraq, in addition to discussing Al-Hol camp, as well as the issue of electoral security, according to a statement by the media office of the National Security Adviser, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
During the meeting, both discussed joint cooperation between Iraq and the United Nations, and the support provided in the humanitarian fields, especially with regard to providing living necessities and the needs of the IDPs.
The meeting concluded with the two sides affirming the importance of providing all available means for the success of the upcoming elections, as “a national entitlement that the Iraqis are waiting for,"
