Finance Minister announces completing on the preparation of 2022 budget

    Finance Minister Ali Allawi announced on Thursday, the completion of the preparation of the 2022 budget, while indicating that it will be presented to the Cabinet within three weeks.
     
    Alawi said in a press interview attended by the reporter of the Iraqi news agency, that all the preparation of the 2022 budget has been completed."
     
    "The budget will be presented within 3 weeks in the Council of Ministers, he added, noting that the price of the barrel of oil in the budget of 2022 will be 50 US dollar."
     

    The Minister of Finance confirmed that "OPEC will add 450,000 barrels to Iraq's production”.
