Baghdad Con: Iraq looks for partnerships as participants came to support Iraq

Spokesman for Baghdad Conference, Nizar Al-Khairallah, confirmed on Wednesday, that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi formed a preparatory committee to complete all procedures related to the Baghdad conference for cooperation and partnership.

"We look forward to participation at high levels in the Baghdad conference," said Al-Khairallah in a press conference attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

Al-Khairallah added, that the international attendance is a necessity to strengthen the Iraqi role," stressing "the Baghdad conference is under Iraqi sponsorship and the response of the leaders of the countries was due to their confidence in the Iraqi role,"

"There is a serious desire of the government to build economic partnerships with countries in the region," he pointed out.

He explained that “We look forward to partnerships and the participated countries came to support Iraq,”
