The President of the Republic on the Centennial Anniversary: We affirm the Iraqis' aspiration for a secure state

    The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, affirmed, today, Monday, the aspiration of Iraqis to a secure state that serves its people through good governance and expresses their independent will.
     
    President Salih tweeted on his official Twitter account, that the age of contemporary Iraq has reached a full century with the anniversary of the coronation of (the late) King Faisal I.
     
    Salih added, one hundred years of historical turning points, marked by achievements and setbacks, including wars, tragedies and tyranny.
