Al-Kadhimi heads to Kuwait on head of a government delegation

    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi left the capital, Baghdad on Sunday morning, heading to the sisterly State of Kuwait, at the head of a high-rank government delegation.
     
    The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that Al-Kadhimi confirmed, that the visit comes as part of the government's efforts to strengthen cooperation and bilateral relations with various countries, including the sisterly State of Kuwait.
     
    The visit will discuss many economic, political, energy, investment and other files, and enhancing them in the interest of the two brotherly peoples, Al-Kadhimi added.
     
    In a related issue, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi indicated that Iraq is on a date with early elections, and that the government is committed and determined to hold the elections on their scheduled date on the tenth of October 2021, and it has prepared all the necessary procedures for fair elections and an appropriate atmosphere to conduct one of the best democratic practices that the country is ever witnessing.
