Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed that the government's efforts to implement the law will continue in all governorates, while stressing the need for the judiciary to take its role in retribution against the killer.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi personally supervised the campaign to remove abuses in the holy city of Karbala, where he visited, this morning, Wednesday, the site of the martyrdom of Karbala Municipality Director, Engineer Abeer Salim Al-Khafaji.
Al-Kadhimi directed "to name the street after the martyr Engineer Abeer Selim, and to continue the campaign to remove abuses, and to implement the law," noting that "the martyr's project will continue to extend order, and eliminate the chaos of abuses on the streets and roads."
The security forces brought the murderer to the scene, where Al-Kadhimi stressed, “the need for the judiciary to take its role in retribution from the killer to be an example to others, and to all those who transgress the employees while performing their job duties,” stressing that “the government’s efforts to implement the law will continue, and at a higher pace.” Previously, in all provinces.
