At this Wednesday morning, , Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi visited the family of the martyr engineer Abeer Salim Nasser Al-Khafaji, director of Karbala Municipality, who was martyred yesterday by a violator while performing his duty to remove abuses on the public streets of the governorate.
A statement by his media office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Al-Kadhimi offered his condolences to the martyr's family, stressing that the killer will receive his just punishment, after he was arrested by our security forces."
And he indicated that "we will be more severe with violators of the state and the law, and this incident will not go unnoticed, and he stressed that murderers and criminals will not escape punishment, and that we are looking for retribution and justice for everyone who begs himself to extract Iraqi blood, because no one is above the law, and we will not we allow chaos to ensue."
He pointed out that the martyr Abeer Selim gave a lot to his governorate, and was keen to perform his duty with honesty, and what he started must be completed.
