Ministry of Migration and Displacement confirmed that it is following up on the conditions of Iraqis in Belarus and Lithuania, expressing at the same time its readiness to provide assistance.
The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Ivan Faeq Jabro, directed the assignment of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Karim Al-Nouri, to follow up on the conditions of Iraqi refugees in Belarus and Lithuania, through the committee that was formed based on the directives issued by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi on 4/8/2021, the ministry explained in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"We are closely following up the news and reports that we receive about the Iraqis in Belarus and Lithuania, and we are waiting for the committee's report, according to which the necessary action will be taken in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the concerned authorities, as assistance will be provided to them immediately and urgently,'' indicated Jabro.
