Dhi Qar Health Directorate: The death toll of the fire in Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital rises to 64 martyrs

    Dhi Qar Health Department announced on Tuesday, that the casualties of the fire in Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital have risen to 114, between a martyr and a wounded person.
     
    The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): The death toll from the fire of the COVID-19 ward at Imam Hussein (p) Hospital rose to 64 martyrs and 50 injured.
    Earlier, on Monday, the Dhi Qar Health Directorate announced the death of more than 36 people and the injury of 5 others in the fire incident of Imam Hussein Teaching Hospital (peace be upon him), which is used to treat COVID-19 patients.
    Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al- Al-Kadhimi, held an emergency meeting to find out the repercussions of the fire at Imam Hussein Hospital in Nasiriyah.

    The Media Office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Tuesday, that "the Prime Minister, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi held an emergency meeting with a number of ministers and security leaders to find out the causes and repercussions of Imam Hussein(p) Hospital fire incident In Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar province.
