Meteorological Authority confirmed that Iraq will continue to be affected by high temperatures while it expected a fluctuation in temperature between high and low in the next period.
"By the beginning of June, Iraq began to be affected by the seasonal change, which led to a rise in temperatures, and we expect it to continue until the end of August or the beginning of September," said Amer Al-Jabri, the director of weather information office, to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"Iraq is also affected by certain periods, as the seasonal change deepens and leads to a rise in temperatures, and the rise is gradual. There is a new rise that continues in the last 3-4 days and will decline at a later time to normal rates," he added.
Al-Jabri stressed that "the temperatures will continue to rise and fall according to the effects of the seasonal change, and it is not possible to predict the stability of temperatures at a near date below 50 degrees C or below 45 degrees C in the current period,"
