US dollar exchange rates stabilize in the currency local markets

The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar witnessed on Saturday stability in the currency local markets.

As the exchange rate of 100 US dollars against the Iraqi dinar reached 147,000 dinars today, while the purchase prices of the US dollar were 146.500 dinars per 100 dollars.

It's to be mentioned, that the exchange rate of 100 US dollars against the Iraqi dinar, yesterday Friday, were 147,250 dinars while the purchaser prices of the US dollar were 146.500 dinars per 100 dollar.

Earlier, the Central Bank of Iraq decided to devalue the national currency against the US dollar, as the purchase price of the US dollar from the Ministry of Finance amounted to 1450 dinars, and the price of selling it to banks was set at 1460 dinars per dollar, while the selling price to the citizen is 1470 dinars per dollar.
