Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein discussed today, Sunday, files of joint cooperation in the field of combating terrorism .
The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "bilateral discussions between Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, who is visiting Iraq within the framework of the Iraqi-Jordanian-Egyptian summit."
The statement added that "during the talks, ways to enhance bilateral relations and joint cooperation were discussed, within the framework of common interests in the economic, political, security and various fields of bilateral exchange."
The two sides reviewed, according to the statement, "files of joint cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, rejecting extremism and adopting everything that would enhance stability in the region, on the path of sustainable development and taking into account the interests of friendly and brotherly peoples."
