Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed on Saturday that there are positive signs in the region towards starting to alleviate the crises, pointing out that Iraq had bitter experiences and the recovery of our country is a contribution to the revival of our Arab world.
Al-Kadhimi said in an article received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that it must be emphasized that restoring confidence among the countries of the Middle East as a basis, and then with the countries of the world is not an easy task .
He added that acknowledging this reality and its complexities, and the map of interests and their political speculations constitutes a positive framework for building bridges of trust and a base for understanding and respecting the will of all parties and their national interests, stressing that such understanding to all the political circumstances and interests, does not mean being not aware of differences, but quite the contrary as differences and plurality of opinions, ideas and orientations, which necessarily embodies the strategies of countries in managing their relations and the logic of dealing with emerging crises, especially when interests are intertwined, as there are multiple means of building understandings that respect the will of the other, and national interests, stressing the most importantly, it leads to build horizons for laying the foundations of peaceful relations, adopting the soft powers of diplomacy, and avoiding everything that would turn the emerging crises into a state of confrontation and separation.
Al-Kadhimi also added that the government recognize two basic facts: the first is that there is no way towards the future in the Middle East without all of us uniting to preserve the dignity of our peoples and the right of our future generations to a decent life that befits us, and secondly, that implementing the first goal will only be done by restoring the balances of the region in which Iraq forms a cornerstone in it.
