Karbala - INA - Abbas Al-Rahimi
In a distinctive and striking way, the student, Khaled Habib, in the fourth stage at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Karbala University, turns medicine into artistic paintings that won the admiration of the teaching staff, students and attendees during an art exhibition held at the University of Karbala.
Habib told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that he "participated in various art exhibitions and won first place in the fourth festival held by the University of Karbala, with an artwork that includes all groups of Iraqi society with all its religious, social and political spectrums."
He added, "The message of art lies in communicating the idea in a different and fun way that fascinates others to see it. Therefore, I decided to do something special that combines art and the academic specialization that I practice. The idea of making a mosaic painting that represents the pharmacy logo, which consists of a picture of a snake that wraps on a glass cup, came to me in a different way." It has nothing to do with colors and dyes, but with tablets and capsules."
He continued, "The medical materials that I used in my work are expired materials on the way to destruction, as I collected them and arranged them in a beautiful form that was pasted to preserve them from time factors such as heat and humidity, and turned into a work of art that won the admiration of others from professors, students and visitors."
