Iraqi national football team faces its Iranian counterpart at Ali Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Stadium in the Bahraini capital, Manama, in the Asian double qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
Iraqi team finished its last training unit in preparation for this match, which will play a decisive role in determining the fate of the leading team in Group C and the teams which will qualify to the third qualifying round of the World Cup.
The first-leg match ended with the win of Iraqi national team by two goals to one.
It’s to be mentioned that Iraqi team leads the third group with 17 points, while the Iranian team is the second in the group with 15 points.
