Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi discussed today, Thursday, with the Jordanian ambassador to Iraq, Montaser Al-Zoubi, the expected tripartite summit in Baghdad .
The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, received the Jordanian ambassador to Iraq, Montaser al-Zoubi."
He added, "During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, the importance of activating and implementing memoranda of understanding, commercial, industrial and investment agreements concluded between the two countries, and the continuation of coordination and strategic cooperation to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples."
He added, "The meeting touched on the tripartite Iraqi-Jordanian cooperation, and the expected tripartite summit in Baghdad."
