Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail confirmed Iraq's efforts to provide new investment opportunities in gas and clean energy sectors.
The media office of the Ministry of Oil said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the Minister of Oil received the first vice manager of Exxon Mobil, noting that the minister affirmed the ministry's keenness to strengthen cooperation relations with sober international companies, including Exxon Mobil.
The minister expressing his hope that the current and future phase will witness more implementation of such projects that enhance opportunities for sustainable development for Iraq.
In turn, Tom Schussler, Senior Vice President of ExxonMobil, expressed his hope to increase the bilateral cooperation in many areas, including the energy and infrastructure sector.
