Bramsen: We seek to enhance joint cooperation and provide support to Iraq

A statement by the Information Office of the Ministry of Defense said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the Iraqi Minister of Defense Jumah Inad received the Danish Minister of Defense Tren Bramsen at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense."

Minister of Defense Jumah Enad thanked today, Sunday,  the government of Denmark for its assistance in providing support to fight ISIS, while Danish Minister of Defense Tren Bramsen confirmed her country's endeavor to enhance joint cooperation with Iraq .

"The visit of the Danish Minister of Defense, Tren Bramsen, came to strengthen cooperation with Denmark in the military field," Defense Minister Jumah Inad said during a press conference followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), thanking the Danish government in fighting ISIS and training security forces.

For her part, the Danish Minister of Defense emphasized that "my visit to Iraq is important, and we seek to enhance joint cooperation and provide support to Iraq in various fields, especially the military one."

"We will work to increase cooperation in the field of training Iraqi forces, and raise their level to face various security challenges," she added.
