The choice of Israeli military violence reveals the extent of the terror that hides behind the ideology. The overt war on Jerusalem and Gaza is an ideological war in its essence, because it is based on the idea of ​​control, erasure, real and symbolic killing, and on distorting all concepts related to place, 
history and sacred.

What happened in the “Sheikh Jarrah” area in East Jerusalem unleashes the realization of the idea of ​​“Judaizing Jerusalem” and imposing it as a fait accompli in political deliberation, and in arranging the city’s geography in any future negotiations with the Palestinian side, and thus the talk will be about naming “East Jerusalem” the capital of the Palestinian state. Purely an unrealistic move, because the Palestinians in Jerusalem will be a minority amid Jewish control over the city, and over its geographical, political and historical characterization.

Also, the Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip confirms the nature of the criminal policy of the Hebrew state, and its ideological and political positions regarding any option to talk about solutions to address the Palestinian issue, to withdraw from the occupied territories, and even to submit to the relevant international decisions, which emphasize a number of positions, the most prominent of which are The two-state solution within the 1967 borders, as well as respect for peoples' rights to self-determination, to renounce violence, war and expulsion, and to prevent the return of refugees to their lands.

The aggression and bombardment taking place in Gaza now reflects the extent of the Israeli arrogance, in exchange for the weakness of the international will, and the inability of the Security Council to obtain any resolution that obliges the Israelis to stop the aggression immediately and to deal with the Palestinian issue in accordance with what is stated in international conventions, including those related to human rights Because most of the victims of this aggression were civilians, women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The political strife in this aggression is not far away, as its timing coincides with the talk about a new date for the Palestinian elections, which enjoy great European sponsorship, as holding elections in East Jerusalem means disrupting the Israeli bet on full control of Jerusalem, and nullifying talk about its "Judaism", especially after It obtained from American support as a result of former President Trump's decision to move the American embassy to Jerusalem, a position that reflects the extent of coordination between the United States and Israel in imposing a fait accompli policy, and in supporting settlement policies in Jerusalem, and condoning the crimes of the settlers who stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as Silence on the Gaza war and the crimes committed by the Israeli militarism without an international deterrent.
