Civil Aviation Authority clarified the fact that the pandemic vaccine card will be approved for those who have received the vaccination, as an alternative to PCR examination for those wishing to travel.
The Director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Jihad Al-Diwan, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The issue is not currently approved and is subject to a decision by the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety, and it has not decided to cancel the PCR examination and to adopt the vaccine card as an alternative."
He added, "The decision is currently valid for domestic flights. As for the external ones, they have to conduct a PCR examination 72 hours before the flight."
