The Governor of Nineveh, Najm Al-Jubouri, confirmed today, Thursday, that there are no instructions regarding the return of families of ISIS terrorist gangs from Al-Hol camp to the governorate, while indicating that there is a popular rejection of that.

Al-Jubouri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Nineveh local government has not received any instructions regarding the return of ISIS gangs' families from Al-Hol camp to the governorate," noting that "we have not been assigned any task in this regard, because the province is linked to the central government."

Al-Jubouri added, "There is a complete popular rejection of the return of these families to Nineveh Governorate," noting that "the governorate is not ready to receive them."
The governor of Nineveh assured that "there will be great resentment and rejection if these families are returned, and we expect that the province will witness large demonstrations to reject this.
