The lottery for the 2021 Arab Cup, organized by FIFA, which will be hosted by Doha next December, will be in the Qatari capital, Doha.
23 Arab teams will participate in the tournament, which are Qatar, the "host", Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.
The UAE Football Association will be represented at the lottery ceremony, by member of the Federation’s board of directors, Ali Hamad Al-Badwawi, and Director of National Teams, Abdul Qadir Hassan, according to the Emirates News Agency, WAM.
The second pot is allocated to the four teams that follow them in the classification, and the same distribution will be repeated for the third and fourth pots, and the next seven teams from the qualifying rounds will be placed in the seven less-ranked positions, where the teams that win the first, second and third qualifying matches will be placed in the positions 2, 3 and 4 inside the pot No. 3, while the remaining four finalists will be placed in Pot No. 4 in a row.
