Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and Parliament Muhammad Al-Halbousi held a meeting today, Sunday, with the Parliamentary Health Committee regarding the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital fire incident.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Presidency of the House of Representatives and members of the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee met with the Prime Minister and the investigative committee in the Ibn al-Khatib Hospital fire incident to identify the negligent and hold them accountable."
Today, Sunday, the Council of Ministers decided, during its extraordinary session, to withdraw the hand of the Minister of Health, the Governor of Baghdad, and the Director of Al-Rusafa Health, and refer them to investigation, in connection with the incident at Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad.
