The General Company for Glass and Refractories, announced today, Tuesday, that it is in the process of exporting products abroad, while indicating that Russian companies will rehabilitate glass and ceramic factories.
The general manager of the company, Fuad Hammad Anzi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the General Company for Glass and Refractories will have products offered for export after announcing the production lines for investment," indicating that "the company aims to involve the private sector in rehabilitating the lines that attracted the offers of a number of Companies. "
He added that "studies and analyzes of the offers were conducted and after completing their requirements and in accordance with the criteria and points set by the study committees, Russian companies became the ones investing in these lines according to the contract signed with them," explaining that "the Federation of Russian Companies will soon restore work in glass and ceramic factories, in addition to updating them." "Ceramic factories, rehabilitating them and increasing their production capacities to contribute to meeting the local market's need for ceramic walls and floors and ceramic sanitary ware production."
