Iraq: The terrorist act against two wells in Kirkuk did not affect production

North Oil Company confirmed on Saturday, that the terrorist act against the two oil wells in Kirkuk did not affect the production process.
"Two oil wells in Bai Hassan field were targeted at dawn, by a cowardly terrorist act that detonated two explosive devices and did not affects the production process or stops pumping oil from the aforementioned wells,” included the ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The company stressed that "these cowardly terrorist acts will not stop the national efforts to sustain the production process in support of the national economy,"
The statement indicated that "the Ministry of Oil and the concerned security authorities have opened an investigation into the incident,"
