White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki announced that the United States has registered the largest number of Russian forces near the Ukraine border since 2014 .
"The United States is concerned about Russia's escalation of aggression in eastern Ukraine, including the increase in Russian troop movements near the Ukrainian border," said Jen Psaki.
"Russia now has more forces on the border with Ukraine than at any time since 2014, " she added.
Psaki also pointed out that "Washington discusses its concerns about the escalation of tension in eastern Ukraine, including cases of ceasefire violations, with its NATO partners ."
