European Union: We want to put the nuclear deal back on track

The European Union announced today, Tuesday, that it is seeking to restore the nuclear deal on track and push its parties to respect its requirements .

The European Union stated, "The Vienna meeting aims to discuss the nature of sanctions imposed on Iran and the possibility of lifting them, as well as to revive the nuclear agreement ."

"The path is complicated and long, and we are still at the beginning, " he added.

It is noteworthy that a meeting will be held, today, Tuesday, in Vienna, between the parties to the nuclear agreement that was reached in the Austrian capital in 2015 between Iran and the 5 + 1 group (the United States, Russia, China, Britain and France in addition to Germany), which has come to be called the 4 + 1 group. After Washington withdrew in 2018 .

The meeting aims to pave the way for the return of the United States to this agreement .
